Hello, my name is Amelia. I have recently finished my studies at Cardiff University for Modern Languages and Translation in Japanese. I have also completed GCSE and A Level Japanese. I have about 12 years experience learning Japanese, and some teaching experience. I love culture and language, and would love to teach you too! I will soon be graduating with a Bachelor in Modern Languages and Translation. Therefore I have a background in Japanese studies, language and Translation theory, Linguistics, etc.

My classes include one to one learning, emphasis on speaking and writing as well as reading and listening. Perfect if you are planning to go travelling to Japan anytime soon, I can give you a crash course of things such as greetings, etiquette and getting around Japan comfortably. Explaining cultural differences, language usage and other things to help a comfortable experience.

Usually I teach beginner, hiragana, katakana, and basic vocabulary. Other areas such as grammar, and other skills. Japanese is an amazing language to learn if you are interested in video games, anime and other Japanese-born culture. The use of powerpoints, word files, charts and other materials can be gathered to help you learn, and ensure you learn as naturally as possible. Textbooks can also be used but at an arm's length as I believe integration is the best way to learn a language, as well as going to the country the language is spoken.

If you are interested in learning Japanese and Japan's culture, please contact me here.
