Hiya! My name's Amelia and I have a varied background in tutoring. Having worked with a range of ages from 7 to 18, I have experience teaching at different levels and with children of all learning styles.
I have studied science at a high level so I am well-versed in biology, chemistry, and physics. as well as this, I also did social sciences such as psychology and physical science at A level achieving grades of A and A*.
Throughout my education, I also struggled with dyslexia. However, this proved an advantage as I created revision techniques and identified ways to overcome my difficult tendencies such as slow processing. Since then, I have helped tutor children in a range of subjects including English to find the best way for them to learn.
I believe tutoring gives students the time to work at their own pace and with the freedom to ask anything. This gives them the best chance at fully understanding a topic and applying it to their work.
