First lesson will be used to gage where the student is at, identifying strengths and weaknesses. The following lessons will be to address weaknesses based on which need the most development and which have the biggest impact on their overall grade/result. I achieved a Grade 9 in my English Literature GCSE and a Grade 8 in my English language GCSE. I also take into account any learning difficulties a student may have, ensuring that the lessons are tailored to their learning style and their own specific needs. I am currently undertaking an A level in English Literature so will be well versed in delivering exeptional lessons. I understand English, especially Literature, can be a tough subject for some students, however I will ensure I teach the student many techniques I have learnt and made myself to allow them to excel. I welcome students of all abilities, I myself am dyslexic however I have managed to succeed in this subject and I continue to perform at the highest ability, proving that there is nothing stopping any student from achieving top grades in English regardless of where they are at in their learning compared to others. I am well spoken, and effective at ensuring information is understood and not just heard. At the end of every lesson, I provide some time for a consolidation of their learning, with the start of their next lesson practicing that newly learnt skill. I provide them with detailed reasources that I have compiled and made myself, for them to revise in their own time to solidify what they learn during my lessons.
