Amber Louise Mccarthy Noel-D'avila

My name is Amber and I have worked in schools for 6 years now as both a general Teaching Assistant and a 1-1 Teaching Addistant working with children with learning disabilities.

I have strong interests in Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Marvel, DC, writing, drawing, video games, movies and reading.

I have the ability to find common ground with the children I am working with and believe in building a relationship with trust and respect.

I received a A grade in English Literature and a B grade in English Language in my GCSE's and have since developed my skills and knowledge since.

I have a passion for working with children and as someone with Autism I also have knowledge in helping those with simular learning disabilities.

I have read a variety of books ranging from Holes and An Inspecter calls to Little Woman and Born to Run. I also have read a variety of great authors including Shakespeare.

I also have a strong passion in poetry, writing many poems myself as well as short stories.

I plan to utilise my passion for helping children in ways that will interest them for example practicing certain lessons with comics, harry potter books, and others.

I have many worksheets, books and lesson plans available as well as the ability to create and find more that are best suited to your child.

I do believe that I will be able to help your child progress and develop the skills they need to succeed and find love for the English.
