Hello! My name is Amber. I have worked in education since I left school at 16. Previously to this I babysat children with SEND and behavioural needs. It is my passion to support students throughout their education journey and I have done this with my experience as a teaching assistant (primary school), Learning support assistant (1:1 support in a college) and I have briefly worked as a pastoral member supporting a ranged of different SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs (15+/College). Although I do not hold a teaching qualification I have years of experience in planning and support teachers with their lesson plans and often teaching small groups who required extra support. I am up to date with the EYFS framework and Child Development matters. I am also confident in my ability to support GCSE level learners. As for my education, I left school at 16 after completing my GCSEs where I passed all my studies. I then went to college where I have gained my level 3 in early childcare and childhood studies. I took a break from education due to becoming a mother to my son. I have since been back and completed my level 4 at university in Early childhood development. I plan on completing my level 5 and 6 but have had to take a break due to personal commitments currently. I am based in Doncaster and I am able to commute in and around the city aswell as support online learners. I do hold a clean DBS and this can be accessed on the update service also.
