My lessons will be tailored towards beginners. I will start from the beginning and teach chords, tuning, frets, simple songs ect. Once I feel a student has progressed I will then teach them a simple song of their liking and we will progress based on their pace. As a music college student I find it extremely important to make sure everything is written down to look back on so I will also make a plan for the lesson to share after which will contribute to further progression. I will also set homework once a week that we can go over, naming the chords , playing the intro of a song ect. I am very laid back and understand that students have different learning styles that work for them which is why I tend to use different techniques to teach for each individual and why I think learning the basics is important as I don’t want to move too fast and the student becomes confused. I will typically have the basics covered in 3/4 lessons and after that we will start to progress towards finding the students style and understanding.
