I like to use blank pages for brainstorming and pictures for explaining. That way we always have an image to come back to when we're discussing the topic. I'm happy to go at your pace. The more we scribble and break things down into manageable pieces, the easier it will be to understand and learn. Information needs to be relevant to be remembered, so ask loads of questions to be sure you've understand what I'm explaining.
