As an experienced educator with a strong background in language teaching, I understand the challenges and rewards of learning a new language. Having taught Greek to students of diverse backgrounds, I have worked extensively with English speakers, tailoring lessons to different proficiency levels and learning styles. This experience has strengthened my ability to guide students through the language-learning process with patience, adaptability, and cultural awareness.
As a private tutor and co-founder of The Hellenic Hub, I have designed and delivered personalised lessons that foster engagement and confidence in language acquisition. My work at St Sophia’s Greek School further reinforced my skills in supporting students from various linguistic backgrounds, collaborating with families, and creating an inclusive learning environment. Having navigated bilingual education myself, I can relate to students learning English as a second language and help them develop both fluency and confidence.
