Bonjour! My name is Amy, I am a native French teacher and tutor in Nottingham. After my A-levels, I did an English degree at my local university before going to York to be a Modern Language Assistant for 6 months. I recently finished my Master's degree in French teaching and Learning Design and moved to the UK in February this year. I have taught French to non-French speaking students, which was a very enriching experience. I also had the opportunity to teach English to French students (Y7 and Y9). I like to use a task-based learning approach with my students, and I usually try to use their interests/hobbies as a way to engage them into their learning experience. I also like to use board games and songs/films to deepen their knowledge and use it in context. I try to make learning fun, but also useful. I usually start by getting to know my students a little bit more, and once that is done, we can move onto more contextualised learning, depending on your needs! Don't hesitate to contact me if you have a specific issue in French, whether you only want one lesson here on there, or a certain number of lessons every month.
