I base my lessons on Pixie Maths but add my own content to aid understanding. No question you ask is unreasonable and I adapt lessons when a student is struggling. There are exercises to complete, but they are not too long and you are never on your own. Once the penny has dropped we move on to the next topic. You are the centre of the whole tutorial. It is my responsibility to facilitate understanding and if you don't understand the fault is mine... but I will change how I am teaching the topic until you o understand. My job is to build your confidence in Mathematics.
