Amanda

Hello there future students! My name is Amanda, I am originally from Canada, but have been living all around the world for 10 years. I have lived in Guatemala, Colombia, Australia, Egypt and am now based in the United Kingdom.

I studied history, politics and diplomacy (foreign affairs), so can offer a wide range of topics we can discuss and learn about.

I absolutely love to travel, and have now been to over 75 countries! We can talk about geography, politics, culture, food and one of my favourites: sports. I enjoy travelling to international sporting tournaments such as the Olympic Games and many FIFA World Cups, and I play football, volleyball and I snowboard.

I like to start off with fun activities to learn and memorize vocabulary, then teach you the basics of putting sentences together. We will start nice and easy, and I will have you laughing and speaking English in no time.

I have taught English in many countries, often incorporating activities like hiking, sight-seeing or a fun restaurant so we can make sure you are having a great and engaging experience.
