Each lesson will be designed with your goals and capabilities in mind, and any topics you are struggling with or interested in learning should be communicated before the lesson, that way I can make sure to prepare a suitable and fulfilling lesson that is tailored to you!

First, the topic will be introduced and explained to you, using a variety of examples in the form of pictures and sounds to help you grasp a clear understanding of it.

Next, we will go through some exercises together at the pace that is comfortable for you. This section will put the topic you’ve learned into practise and we will go through exemplar questions together, breaking them down so they can be recognised and understood.

After that, I will give you some exercises for you to complete independently, but if you do get stuck, don’t fret! I’ll step in to help you out when you need assistance, but this part is focused on testing your own level of understanding of the topic.

In order to fully understand the way that certain words or phrases are said and what meanings they have, we will explore some cultural facts about the language - literature, geography, history, or everyday life. Knowing different aspects about English culture helps you to use the language more effectively and accurately, it’s also very interesting!

During the lesson, there will be opportunities for us to role play and enact everyday situations. These activities will be based off real-world scenarios and will engage you in an active discussion about the topic, allowing you to enhance your understanding of vocabulary and language.
