I recently completed an online teaching course- Future learn. I am now familiar with platform and online teaching techniques and research in supporting learning. I forcussed on teaching techniques for ages 3 years to about 12 years.
I can teach phonetics, vocabulary using various forms of learning such as in a home environment or any place that is comfortable for the learner. I am familiar with using various forms of equipment such as mobile phone, laptops, headsets, microphones, audio recording, using props, pictures, realia, video conferencing, chat boxes, screen sharing, breakouts and using icons. I can use handouts and prepare coursework, draft basic PowerPoints and provide assistance with letter writing . I can work with beginners with no or little English to those who are fluent or confident from anywhere in the world. Happy to start with the tools the children find the most confidence with. I can assist with Maths too if required.
