Hi, I am Alvin. I am a Taiwanese born Chinese teacher.

I’ve been teaching Chinese for more than two years. I have students with different cultural backgrounds and different ages.

In 2021, I got an internship in Hungary. I was a language teacher in a catholic school. Teaching in school is a unforgettable experience, especially working with all my amazing fellow teachers and my brilliant students. I had two regular classes with the 12 graders and 11 graders. We saw each other three times a week which turned out to be one of my my best memory of staying in Hungary

When I was in Hungary , I was also a part time teacher in the Taiwanese Center for Mandarin Learning. My students were mostly Hungarian who’s interested in this ancient yet fascinating language. We had so much fun time together.

Me myself is a big fan of learning languages, and for this, I know how important it is that the class should be as much enjoyable as it can.

In my classroom , I value fun and practices. I used variety of activities and group sessions such as games and competitions in each of my offline classes.
As for the online classes, I use multiple resources including games ( gimkit, booklet , quizlet ,etc.) musics and videos to make the learning process more enjoyable.

Many people doubt they can’t learn language online , but from the progress of my students , I could say I have no doubt people could learn a language from different method , via different platform.
