I am a friendly and patient person who likes to have the focus on the lesson on the student. To me, everything should be paced with the student in mind and if there are some issues in specific areas I like to check back and make sure the foundations are well laid before trying to move forwards. I like lessons to feel like conversations where a student can feel free to interrupt me at any point if there is something they don't understand. I feel like, for this reason, I am quite approachable and easy to talk to. I like my students to be able to enjoy themselves in lessons and not feel too much pressure from each individual slot as content is something you build on and the work stacks in the long run, however, I expect students to do their part in being focused and organized in and out of my lessons as this is very important in academic success. I normally like having lessons online as we can use MS Teams or other software to carry out the lessons from the comfort of a familiar environment and find that some students prefer this too as it is more comfortable for them. I am also available to travel within Winchester to deliver lessons in the student's home since I do understand some people prefer this and will find it easier to learn with me by their side. I am available most days at mostly every hour mornings and afternoons.
