I would start most of my lessons with an optional Q&A session in case you have questions about the content. I am not one who meddles much and tells the students they're wrong without being prepared to guide them to better answers.
I will be involved in the student's works as much as they want me to be. If they are the type to silently try for themselves the work then I will let them but if they are the type to want more engagement I am always happy to be involved.
