My lessons will focus on elements you're struggling with, as well as consolidating existing knowledge. We will focus on the basics and application, as well as the contents of the exam.

Initially, we'll outline what you're struggling with - either with a baseline test or you can inform me of what you're struggling with. You can tell me what your current attainment is, your predicted grade and your own target that you want to strive for. At GCSE, you should also tell me what paper you are doing (either foundation or higher) and which exam board so that I can set appropriate work.

We will go through each topic thoroughly and then we'll answer exam questions together. We will work together in order to help you achieve your target.

We may use textbooks for things like additional information or questions, but don't worry as many are available online for free.

I'm not particularly homework orientated, I just appreciate effort in each lesson and for you to go over what you've learnt in your own time - I think a balance of independent and tutored learning is important. I may set a 5 minute starter task in order to check that you are learning in your own time.

I am a fellow student, although I now study at A level, but I have been learning for all my life. I am currently undergoing a mentorship programme at my own school, meaning I have experience of teaching and supporting younger years.

Every so often, I may set a test that may be done in your own time just to check on your progress. I will work with you for constant improvement.
