Hi, my name is Alix. I'm a friendly and dynamic English teacher from England. I'm a fully qualified language teacher (BA (Hons) in Humanities; CELTA; British Council Certification in Teaching IELTS) and have 8 years of teaching experience. I have taught in language schools in China, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
I am experienced with teaching classes online, since I left the UK in 2022 and have been teaching private classes to students like you online via zoom. Now I live in Japan (time zone GMT+9), where I study Japanese language.
I have taught students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. I have helped many students raise their confidence and level in General English, and helped students prepare for IELTS and achieve a higher band.
I am particularly passionate and experienced in teaching Business English. My past experience as the owner and manager of my own small business in the UK means that I am able to share my own personal knowledge of business and work related topics in the English language, along with my knowledge of British culture and life in the UK.
I will provide all course materials you need, such as textbooks (sent via PDF), free of charge. This is included in the price of your lessons.
