Professional Summary:-
I am highly motivated professional with a passion for supporting individuals with special educational needs, particularly Autism/Asperger’s, ADHD and Dyslexia. I can speak Welsh and Spanish. I have a full DBS Certificate for Children and Adults and am registered with the DBS Update Service. I am really thrilled when I see my pupils progress and obtain a good pass mark. I have also worked with young adults in Colleges of Further Education. I have just passed with IBCCES University, USA and have had to study all the main SEN Conditions and how to help and teach, along with ABA therapies.

I have just completed the main 6 NAS Modules and am on the NAS list to do their SPELL course – How to teach young adults with Autism. Whilst studying for my Postgraduate Degree in Autism, I had free access to my University’s Blackboard Site and Drop In Sessions with Phd students. I learnt a lot on time management, how to skim through research papers quickly, and how to use APA 7 Referencing, along with many free webinars on day to day planning.
Work History:
I have worked for Teaching Agencies(Part-time) From May 2021 whilst studying online with Sheffield Hallam University for my Degree in Autism/Asperger’s/ Education Graduated June 2023. Then November last year I joined IBCCES University, USA online to become a Board Certified Cognitive Therapist Specialist and passed July this year. The course covered Autism, Dyslexia ADHD and comorbidities, recognising symptoms, it’s pathophyysiology and treatments. How to teach students with Autism by early intervention, utilising the social approach, intervention and reciprocity. The levels of engagement and how to create a climate which encourage Autistic learners in higher education. In my last dissertation I did research on the DFE policies (2017) on bullying of Special Educational Need’s children and parent's rights and GDPR Regulations.
Key Achievements:
Familiarized with the specific needs of each placement for seamless integration.
Revamped and tailored teaching techniques and multiple methods of learning strategies in line with the student’s capabilities on a Plan – Do – Review basis.
English Tutor (Ukrainian Pupils):
Collaborated with the Head of Year to address specific needs and followed National Cirriculum at varying levels, dependent on student capabilities and knowledge of English language.
Received commendations for exemplary work. Instructed Ukrainian pupils in English through lap top translation programme. I am currently tutoring a young 14 year old Autistic teenager. His school informed his parents he was about two years behind. After working with him for the last 6 months – he has just passed his English Exam. He had lived abroad for about 2 years.
