My lessons are dynamic, challenging but always enjoyable. I include a lot of speaking in my classes . We talk about current events, sport, art, music or whatever the learner is interested in. It can be food, television or animals - whatever works! I change the pace and content according to how the learners are coping so that learners do not become overwhelmed. Each person is different so my lessons are not formulaic but they are created for the individual I am teaching.
I always do my very best to help each learner reach the best level of language possible using a combination of grammar teaching, listening and reading tasks and learners are talking throughout the lesson rather than listening to me all the time.
I am organised and I like learners to have a clear idea of where the lessons are going and how much progress they are making. Most of all I enjoy giving my learners confidence so that they can participate fully in lessons and see their language growing lesson by lesson. I respond to feedback and I am happy to tailor lessons to particular language needs
