I am a Primary School teacher with a wide skill set. I have experience teaching the CfE from early level all the way to second level. I understand pupils learn differently and use different techniques, tools and materials to aid pupils learning and meet their needs. I am a calm and nurturing person which allows pupils to feel comfortable in their learning environment.
I aim to help bridge gaps in pupil learning and feel comfortable teaching any age who are working towards the CfE. My main area of expertise is numeracy and mathematics where I have completed a degree that specialises in that field. Having this skill set I have found my teaching methods help pupils who struggle or would like to grow in this area a strength of mine. I used a variety of learning practices including play based learning which i tailor specific to children's needs. I truly enjoy teaching as a career and would like to further help and support more children where possible.
My aim will be to work on whatever needs your child requires. I am open to both online and in-person learning based on what you believe would be best suited to your child. Although maths is my area of expertise I have taught the CfE in all subjects and am able to use this knowledge to help your child where needed. Overall my best interest is ensuring your child not only learns but enjoys learning so I will do what I can to make this happen.
