I also studied A-level Biology and Sociology which are very taxing subjects to take, which has helped me prepare for University.

My name is Alisha and I currently study Psychology at University level. Therefore I have studied this at A-level, to which I have even kept all of my notes as some content has overlapped. I also studied A-level Biology and Sociology which are very taxing subjects to take, which has helped me prepare for University.
I am and have been a sporty person all my life, which is why I am part of the netball society at University. Not only this but I love arts and crafts, so from time to time, a painting by numbers and 3D puzzle will be completed :)
I have tutored Psychology at A-level, as well as this I have also taught GCSE English. I would love to become a tutor on this platform as other students have told me that the way I conduct my lessons aides them in learning. I teach in ways that students learn the specific way to answer questions (such as answering what the question wants you to answer, not what the student wants to write). I was content knowing that my method has worked as I have managed to turn grade 3 students into grade 7 and 8 students.
At the start of each lesson, I like to ask the student how their week has been at school and have a general catch up to see if I could help or suggest anything. Then within the subject I am teaching, I will ask if there is anything they are struggling with. I will then ask them to complete an exam question on that area. This is to identify the strengths and weaknesses as well as to give us both something to work with, instead of just going over content.
