I have experience tutoring other students in my classes who were struggling and so use a very informal approach as I believe this can aid learning. I also describe difficult concepts in an easily understandable format by breaking them down into smaller steps. Information is pulled from different resources, which I can make available to students upon request (i.e. textbooks and notes).

I have access to many past papers, especially for A-Level students, and can set these as individual homework questions that are marked in lesson or outside of it (depending on your preference) with access to the mark schemes afterwards.

Regarding essay writing in biology, I can help with decisions regarding which subject areas to choose, understanding the success criteria for a high-quality essay, and can help with grading and feedback of sample essays for topic questions as well as providing example questions to work on.
