My approach

- My rule of thumb: no class without a (moving) image, be it a game, movie (short or feature, animated or not), photo, drawing, meme, caption, painting, music video, TV show, documentary, report, sketch, an illustration or interview
- I'll use 100% worksheets created or adapted by me that I continuously update
- I love cats (I know you do too !) and I'll often include images and videos of cats in my lessons
- I'll expose you to real life situations and teach you the contemporary, not the literary language
- I'll prioritize conversation over writing and reading
- I'll focus on practice and examples, not on theoretical concepts and rules
- I'll seek to have an answer to all your questions and provide you with comprehensive explanations whenever possible
- I'll evaluate your progress periodically and tell you what to do to improve your skills
- I'll give you visibility on what we're going to do next
- I'll constantly ask you for suggestions regarding topics you're interested in
- I'll teach you the way I (would have) liked to be taught
- I'll show you how to learn, not only what to learn
- I'll respect your pace and I won't pressure you
- I'll make you feel comfortable and at ease and improve your level of self-trust
- I'll create a relaxed, informal and playful atmosphere
- I'll do my best to make our classes fun and engaging, interactive and enjoyable, dynamic and diverse
- I'll aim to keep you curios and focused 99% of the time
- I'll try to make it seem easy even when it's difficult
- I'll make you fall in love with the language you're learning
