An undergraduate student, enthusiastic about learning and improving my abilities to the utmost best and passing on these values to the next generation, and with strong belief in kindness and empathy. An experienced teacher for an estimate of 2 years.
In my last position, I was employed as a committed teacher in the departments of Biology and Mathematics, teaching students of grade 10 – 12, with an average class size of thirty enthusiastic students. Delivered formal lectures, prepared informatic booklets and worksheets, and made examination papers.
I was also appointed for careful marking of mock examination scripts, planning chapter worksheets and in-depth lesson plans, and creating carefully planned class routines to aid teachers with their hectic daily schedules through effective daily communication.
I was delegated as an intern among thirty aspiring students in the assistant teacher and administrator role. Responsibilities included adeptly handling official files and taking junior section classes and seminars for classes of around thirty primary school students.
I also worked as a private tutor for O and A level Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, taking both online and physical classes for two entire academic years, teaching hardworking students who often outperformed their peers.
On top of that, I attended the Pearson Education’s training program for teachers for “Understanding Assessment and Improving Delivery in International A Level Mathematics” and “Understanding Assessment and Improving Delivery in GSCE Biology”, which consisted of a 5 hour event aimed to develop the understanding of the marking criteria for each of the respective subjects.
