I am happy to help any A level students who are studying Chemistry under the WJEC (Wales) exam board!

Sample 1-hour lesson plan will be as follows:
1. Spend around 10-15 minutes recapping knowledge from previous lessons by doing some multiple choice questions
2. Asking students what they already know about the topic they want to focus on
3. Spend the next 40 minutes teaching the content/concepts that essential, including any sample answer formats that they must follow in order to obtain marks in an exam
4. Spend the last 5-10 minutes doing extra practice questions regarding the topic taught

Lesson plan can change according to student's needs, e.g. having a full lesson on exam walkthrough with one of the exam papers / an intensive lesson on a certain topic. Homework and any annotated resources that is used in the lesson will be given to students via email after the lessons for consolidation. Homework would mostly consist of multiple choice questions and short answer questions, ensuring the student understands the topic thoroughly. These will be marked, commented and returned to the student. If necessary, I will be going through the homework during the first 10 minutes of the next lesson.
