I’m Alice, I’ve just finished my second year of medical school at the University of Leeds and have achieved top of my year for both years. I took Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further maths A level with A* in all. I really love tutoring and have tutored for 4 years. During my gap year I worked at a school tutoring A level Biology and GCSE science and maths. In this time I really developed my skills teaching subjects and building a good relationship with students.

I vary my lessons depending on what works best for the individual student but often do a mixture of content worksheets which I create, followed by exam questions. This is so I can be sure the student has good resources enabling them to understand exactly what they need to know, and learn the content required by the relevant specifications. Exam questions are then useful apply this knowledge, practice exam techniques and build confidence. I can also set students homework if this is something parents would like.
