Hello!
My name is Alice Jefferis and I am currently in my second year as a fully qualified primary school teacher.
I am an extremely organised, caring and approachable teacher offering private tutoring!
I currently teach in Reception, however, I will be teaching in Year 6 next year and I have a multitude of experience teaching and observing in all primary key stages.
I love to make my lessons engaging and interactive as well as linking aspects of my teaching to children’s interest and hobbies.
It is really important to me to get to know your child in order for me to achieve this during tutoring sessions.
I am extremely passionate about supporting children to flourish and inspiring them to achieve their full potential. I am eager to continue this outside of the classroom on a tutoring basis!
I highly value communication with parents and through my experience as a teacher, understand how imperative this is to supporting children in their education. As a tutor, I would prioritise communicating with you (parents/carers!) about how your child is progressing and their next steps going forward.
I joined the teaching profession to develop creativity, confidence and kindness in the children that I teach. I am now passionate in taking this into a tutoring setting as well as a class teacher.
