I am Alice and I am a native Italian speaker and an experienced tutor. I graduated in English and Film in Edinburgh and I come from a high school specializing in foreign languages, where I learned also Spanish and German.
My lessons are personalized and designed to provide my students with classes that fit their level, aims, and interests. The dynamic of the lessons will be decided together with the student on the first class, and the program will most luckily include a focus on grammar, as well as reading, writing, and conversation practice. If in the interest of the student, cultural studies can be included in the program to make the experience of learning the language even richer. The lessons will be diverse, including written and verbal exercises to complete between lessons or during the class. Classes will also make use of other forms like tv series, films, music, and podcasts to provide alternative, challenging, and entertaining ways to learn the Italian language and culture. In order to check the effectiveness and verify the student's progress, I can prepare short tests to be taken monthly. This will be useful to identify what the student is struggling with and target the notions that they find more difficult.
My aim is to let the students learn in a friendly and enjoyable way. Italian will be learned and explored through different forms to achieve a complete knowledge of the language and be able to communicate with a native speaker with no troubles or difficulties.
