I have been working as a freelance writer since past three years and during this time I have also worked as a paralegal for two years and as well as a legal associate for one year. Throughout this time frame, I have also held private tutoring sessions for various disciplines like Law, Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies. I provide students with different credible resources that are globally recognised by scholars and I encourage the use of primary texts parallel to secondary texts.
Moreover, students are expected to have done the provided readings before class, so that their enthusiastic participation can be ensured. Students are encouraged to express themselves without any sort of hesitation, and to ask any questions freely.
In the beginning we will keep our focus on the fundamentals of law and its types and especially the English Legal System. Furthermore, we will delve into more important doctrines of law to develop a stable legal understanding. Then, students will be taught about the ways to study cases and case laws. Students will also learn to write FIRAC, legal memo and legal briefs. Throughout the course, strict adherence to theoretical and philosophical frameworks of the law will be observed which will also aid the students in grasping important concepts of jurisprudence and the mighty works of jurists of the past. Studying about the philosophy of law, the application of law and the implementation of law would help students in developing a holistic approach regarding the discipline and will broaden their horizons of perception and analysis.
Engaging in the class discussion is key to the essence of every class and students must only concern themselves with learning and understanding.
