I completed my BS degree from FMV Isik University’s Department of Civil Engineering with full scholarship in Summer 2017. Then I pursued my MS studies at the same department with full scholarship and obtained my MS degree in Summer 2020. After that, I started my PhD education in the field of Coastal Sciences and Engineering at Istanbul Technical University in 2021, and currently a PhD student. My research interests are coastal engineering, artificial intelligence methods in coastal engineering, remote sensing, fluid mechanics and traffic flow theory in general.
During my undergraduate I have worked as an Undergraduate Student Assistant of the Statics, Topography and Computer Aided Technical Drawing courses at the FMV Isik University. I have a working knowledge in English and have elementary level command of German. In my MS studies, I focused on Transportation Engineering and my MS thesis is entitled “Impact of traffic incident duration and road characteristics on traffic flow performance”. When I was an MS student, I have worked on some projects to actualize and implement the theoretical knowledge of Traffic Simulation skills into practical work. After starting the doctorate, I focused on Coastal Sciences and Engineering topics like long waves, coastal hazards, etc. and worked as a research assistant at some scientific research projects. I have considerable studies on these topics during my MS and PhD years. You can access my studies via this link .
As an engineer, maths is a passion for me. I believe that I can teach maths to students of all ages. Rather than sticking to a single format in teaching maths, I prefer to apply whatever is the easiest way for the student. I welcome all students who want to learn maths the easy and fun way from a scientist's perspective.
