I discovered adult training and teaching through a program I participated in.
It gave me a taster of how rewarding is to pass on a knowledge to recipients who are interested and willing.
I personally trained officials and politicians from the Middle East of how to use the correct form of language and how best to present themselves verbally to their audience
That experience convinced me further more that tutorial style teaching catered to student is most effective.
I will aim to assess the level and interest of the students individually in order to cater for a lesson that engages them. I will start a typical lesson with a conversation to introduce topic at hand then I will proceed by asking student to read a text within the theme of the lesson and use it to propose questions, some comprehension and others covering the area language. Last I will give the student an opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired through the lesson to embed further more the process of learning and that could be usually achieved by open questions or creative writing task
