I am an enthusiastic 18-year-old tutor with a strong background in A-level Maths. I am passionate about helping students understand and enjoy Maths, using a patient and supportive approach to boost their confidence.
My lessons are aimed at Year 5 to Year 10 students who want to improve their Maths skills, whether they need extra support or are looking to excel. I tailor my sessions to meet each student's unique needs, making learning enjoyable and effective.
Here’s what you can expect from my tutoring sessions:
I will begin by assessing each student's current level of understanding and identifying their strengths and areas for improvement. This helps me tailor my lessons to focus on the specific needs of the student.
Each lesson will have a clear structure and will begin with a brief review of previously covered material to reinforce learning. This will be followed by an introduction of new concepts, broken down into easy steps.
I will encourage active participation from my students. This includes solving problems together, asking and answering questions, and discussing different approaches to solving problems. This interactive approach helps students stay engaged and develop a deeper understanding of the material.
I will provide plenty of practice problems during the lessons and often as homework. Regular quizzes and assessments will help track progress and identify areas that need more attention.
I am flexible in my teaching approach and am willing to adjust the pace of the lessons based on the student's progress. Whether a student needs to spend more time on a challenging topic or is ready to move ahead to more advanced material, I adapt my lessons accordingly.
