I can teach online or in person in Slough at the student’s house. My lessons will be designed to individually cater towards any student, offering optimistic yet constructive criticism to keep their confidence high while still learning and improving.

The content will mainly be by topic, as seen in the GCSE specification. A RAG approach will be taken so the student can identify any weak points they have. This will also allow for a linear approach when a new topic is being selected to be studied. I will make sure the student fully masters any given topic before moving on. I will engage students by constantly asking questions, and presenting fun facts about the topic at hand. The pace will be decided by the confidence and level of the student being taught. Questions will be at the end of the lesson to make sure the student has understood the topic to an appropriate level (through an app like Socrative if online) as well as at the start of the lesson to make sure students remember what has been taught in previous lessons. Parents/Guardians will receive constant and appropriate feedback to make sure they are up to date with the student’s progress.

I have limited experience, but will aim to be a fun and friendly face for the students to work with. I am currently studying Mathematics at the University of Oxford. Thanks in advance.

Qualifications: 9 in GCSE Maths and 8 in GCSE Further Maths.
