I have more than five year experience of teaching English Language and Literature to students age 12-22. I have expertise in handling diverse classes and pupils where I have adapted effortlessly to varying circumstances. My memorable tenure at APSACS Garrison Academy Kharian Cantt has equipped me with the skills to foster a supportive learning environment. My students have consistently achieved high CGPAs which is a testament to my dedication and effective teaching strategies.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have a strong background in creative writing. I have received HRCA creative writing awards and published numerous articles. My writing expertise extends to casual playwriting and thrilling scenes productions. I have been commentating in school Football and Cricket tournaments. I have also achieved ESOL SELT certification in speaking. I also possess extensive experience in online teaching, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. One of my key strengths is creating engaging and interactive lessons, which I achieve by developing dynamic PowerPoint presentations and generating comprehensive assessment tools. This multifaceted approach enables me to deliver high-quality online instruction which proves to be very effective. I have also completed various professional courses, such as Teaching Strategies, BTECH (Advance), SMILES (APSACS), and SDDC (APSACS). Recently I have conducted number of workshops for teachers that targeted their professional development and grooming.
My academic credentials include a degree in Masters in English Language and Literature. Currently I’ve submitted my thesis in Syntax for my Post-Master’s degree in M.Phil English Linguistics. My scholarly work has been featured in the esteemed international journal, Global Language Review. Notably, my published articles ‘A Critical Evaluation of Political Incorrectness in Pakistani Political Discourse’ and ‘Media’s Role in Women Empowerment: A Critical Evaluation of Pakistani Movie ‘Aik Thi Marium’ have been ranking a good deal. Several more publications are forthcoming, including “Re-application of Inflection in Urdu” and “Deception and Insensitivity: Exploitation through the Discourse of Condolence”.
