To begin with I will need to gauge what level you stand within maths and what exam board the test is taken on, this may take the form of a mock test or some gcse-level questions. This is so I can identify some strengths and weaknesses. After this I will create some worksheets of questions tailored to the weaknesses previously identified as the most important part of progress is strengthening your biggest weaknesses, something I understand as a student myself. I will walk through the topics on these worksheets beforehand as to not throw you in the deep end straight away on the weak(er) topics. The aforementioned mock questions will be repeated every 2 or so weeks as to gauge progress on said topics and help us move on to other topics/revise previous topics. As for myself, I am a full time student at the City of Portsmouth College and I love maths. At gcse I achieved a 9 and am predicted to achieve an A/A* for my A-levels. As a full time student I can understand great revision and teaching methods that help me to achieve these grades. Although some methods mag work better for some than others I am good at adapting to the people I am teaching. I have previously tutored some family and friends just to get a grasp on what exactly tutoring has in store and I greatly enjoy the process of assisting people in understanding both gcse and A-level mathematics. I am Available on Monday - Thursday after 5pm and Friday afternoon as well as the whole weekend. I prefer to teach remotely but can teach in person if local. I hope to hear from you.
