My Lessons are very individual, the first session will always be about establishing a base ground. Understanding what the young person knows and doesn’t and how to move forward.

We can go over different things either in the same or different sessions, content, context and exam questions are all things I am happy and able to go through with young people.

In my lessons, you will not be treated like a child, you are a young person who wants to learn and I will give you the respect you deserve. My lessons focus more on collaboration and exploring subjects together. Parts of the lesson will be lead by you to demonstrate your learning. Other parts will be lead by me to teach.

During content lessons, young people will be asked during a short QnA at the end of every session what they need help learning or understanding. Then in the next lesson I will have tailored it to the young persons need.

During context lessons, young people will ask about how certain parts of the course relates to each other and the wider world and we will explore together.

During exam questions lessons, they will either be marking and giving feedback on exam questions they have already written or drafting them together.
