Having over 11 years teaching experience, I can ensure all lessons are fun and engaging, whilst catering for each individual child. It is my passion to see children thrive and grow in confidence and this is reflected in the lessons that I provide.

A typical session would involve a warm up with a familiar topic to promote confidence growth.
Following this would be a simple transition to core content.
Ending the session with a fun activity that embeds all previous learning and leaves the child feeling ready to continue on their learning journey.
Throughout these sessions I am to build a strong relationship with all learners whilst also following up with them throughout the wee, checking that they are happy with their learning.
Setting goals that are achieveable but with a high level of expectation ensures that children achieve those goals whilst feeling supported. I also encourage self-learning techniques both during and outside of my tutoring sessions, as these not only help with the work they produce with myself, but also promotes a love for life long learning.

Learning is a journey that requires constant development and encouragement. My goal as a tutor is to help you achieve your academic goals and develop a love for learning that will last a lifetime. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading and running, and I'm always looking for new ways to learn and grow. I'm excited to get to know all of you and work together to help you achieve academic success!
