Hi! My name is Alexandra, I am an university student in London looking for an opportunity to teach.
I have one year of experience in private tutoring and working with small children in various occasions. My lessons aim to be fun and dynamic, and I try to get my students as engaged with the subject as possible; but each student is different, and so are my lessons. Since each student has a different learning pace and capacity, I try to tailor the lessons to each student's needs, so they can get as much as they can out of the language. I would love to teach students about Spanish culture, about the country, its mannerisms so the student can get some context and background on what they are learning. I'm more than happy to help with any exam preparation, but can also give lessons on conversational Spanish. I normally prepare my classes in advance with plenty of worksheets, flashcards, games... so the student is free to choose what they want to focus on each lesson; whether it be grammar, vocabulary or just trivia and cultural knowledge.
Apart from offering private tutoring in Spanish and English as a foreign language, I would also like to offer my services in Philosophy tutoring for students who are struggling in this subject as this will give me experience in the field for my future in Academia. Feel free to message me if you are interested in scheduling a lesson. Thank you for reading my presentation!
