I am a 21-year-old MPhys theoretical physics student at Queen's University, Belfast, where I start my final year in September. I have shown demonstrable efficacy in the fields of mathematics and mathematical physics. My personal interests in maths/physics are tensor analysis, quantum theory, and relativistic field theory - relevant to GCSE/A-level however, I have competency in calculus, geometry, statistics, classical mechanics, trigonometry, and both numerical and analytical methods for solving problems.
I graduated from high school in 2020, with A*A*A*A in A-level physics, chemistry, mathematics, and electronics, (and similar grades at GCSE level, 6A* & 4A, incl. further maths, physics, chemistry) and was thus accepted into Queen's University.
My lessons will always start and end with a summary of what the lesson will be about, and what has been taught. I prefer to use digital tools for presentation, such as digital whiteboards/drawing tablets along with screen-sharing to make my working out accessible. Tutoring sessions would be delivered over zoom, where a student and myself would go through relevant questions (such as exam past papers). I try to build a reasonable dialogue between myself and the student, ensuring that the topic in question has been readily understood.
I have experience with tutoring my peers, and I have a knack for communicating complex ideas in a way that all can understand them (which is particularly useful in physics!). I am open to tutoring at all levels, but I have particular interest in GCSE/A-level mathematics, physics, and chemistry at a GCSE level. Please get in contact if you have any more questions!
