I aim to tailor each lesson to an individual students needs. We will start with a general discussion on areas of the subject that need particular attention. Then, once a student is confident in their knowledge of the subject, I will move on to essay technique, and how to use the marking criteria to maximise their grades. Scoring high marks at A level is just as much about how you answer the question as it is about learning the content of the course. I am confident that with my teaching, any student can achieve A/A* grades in politics. Having taken the A level myself and scoring an A* only three years ago I have an intimate knowledge of not only the subject itself, but also how to structure answers and responses to questions to ensure a high grade is scored.
