I describe my practice as person-centred. For me, this means taking time to get to know you and collaborating with you, so that you can guide me on what works best for you.
Whether we are online or in-person, I like to take a creative and active approach to tackling whatever issue/problem/challenge you want to focus on. This means rolling up our sleeves and getting stuck in using a variety of tools and techniques. Some people like to talk, reflect and ponder, while others like visual aids e.g. drawing and mapping things out on flipcharts and posterboards - really bringing things to life in a tangible way.
Without minimising the seriousness of career decision-making and planning, I like to use a lot of humour in my approach (where appropriate!). I believe people can do their best work when they feel at ease and I put a lot of effort into ensuring people settle into the sessions and relax as they begin to work hard on their challenges.
Finally - I am here to stretch, challenge and grow you. My main aim is to build your capacity to manage your own career so you no longer need my help!
