As a recent GCSE student, I am freshly equipped with the necessary savoir-faire on all the tricks and methods of picking up every single french GCSE mark.
Obtaining a grade 9 at gcse reflects my skills in this subject, as well as being predicted an A* at a level in french.
Enough about my individual successes.
As a french and math tutor, I spent the majority of the last academic year tutoring maths, and as a result all of my students met expectations or exceeded expectations (all passing GCSE maths). My lesson plans ensured that each student profited as much as possible, providing a mixture of questions and explanations to guide the student as well as challenge them.
I try to base my lessons on challenges, as they encourage an eagerness to understand. I’m my opinion, wanting to understand is the foundation of learning, but realistically only a small number of students start off wanting to learn.
This is why as much as my lessons are challenging, I install them with the skills and enjoyment that they inherit it in their own free time, essentially making their subject a hobby.
French in my opinion is the perfect subject to enjoy.
Who wouldn’t want to be able to speak more than one language? Or have a secret lingo with your mate?
I see French as more than just a school subject, and I’m eager to convey that message to my students through challenging, interactive online lessons.
