I have tutored for the past 3 years as I do my degree with great success. I supplement what is taught in lessons and focus my sessions on exam questions and technique after teaching the details of each topic. I find that maths is all about doing questions so I set work after each session and try and never leave it too long before revisiting old topics to keep it fresh. I am adaptable and have achieved great results with lots of my students getting 8/9 at GCSE and also lots of students bumping their mock results up 2/3 grades.

I am happy to do online or in person and work well with either. I usually do 90 mins/2 hr sessions and this allows enough time to understand topics, refresher activities and final questions to check understanding. I am chatty and approachable for both parents and the students so I work well with all types of personalities.
