Hello I'm Alex! Fully qualified (QTS) mathematics teacher, with a PGCE qualification in secondary mathematics from the university of Exeter; alongside my bachelor's degree in Economics. I currently work FT, teaching IGCSE at a prestigious international school but have experienced teaching AQA and EDEXCEL syllabus GCSE mathematics. My key teaching skills are motivation, questioning and assessment.

I try to make my lessons fun and engaging, subsequently keeping student concentration and engagement levels high. I use a range of modern teaching methods, all backed by experience within the classroom and available education literature. Lessons will include: diagnostic assessment, quizzes, AFL, worksheets, questioning, mock exams, exam technique, revision technique and much more! Every lesson will be designed and tailored to your specific needs and areas of improvement.

I have a firm belief that every student can achieve with the right teaching methods. With no students being left behind! Practice makes perfect.
