My Name is Alex Obuh

In my over 18 years of tutoring, my lessons can take any of or a combination of the following four (4) forms:

1. Online learning: I will use the internet as a basis for engaging student by creating individual or group video calls, webinars, or messaging platforms. It’ll be a combination of things to keep students engaged through resources like presentations, lesson plans, worksheets, videos or audio lectures with this many students can be accessible.

2. Differentiated learning: I will tailor instructions to students depending on their individual needs especially when I am teaching a mixed-ability class and I need everyone to get the most out of each lesson. This method will be approached through books, films, images, and verbal presentations.

3. Blended learning: I conduct lessons using a combination of both traditional face-to-face learning and technology-based learning. By so doing we will exploit the numerous advantages that comes with both approach.

4. Student-centered/Personalized learning: I will give students more opportunities to choose what they want to learn and how they want to learn it.

The above approach, methods and formats has made my classes very interesting making teaching and learning very interesting with excellent exam results. It has also endeared me to my students.
