As someone who is still a student myself I understand that a lot of people find maths and science boring! My aim is to use lessons that link the subject back to real life as often as possible. This helped me thrive during my GCSEs as it allowed me to get past the maths teachers most heard question "When will I use this in real life?". Connecting the subject to the world around you helps an understanding form rather than simply knowing the information for the sake of an exam. This is beneficial to the student as it helps with knowledge retention.
