I have experience teaching KS3 Maths, as well as GCSE Biology and Chemistry. However, I also feel confident teaching English Language, English Literature, Physics, History, PE, and Chinese. I understand the difficulties of exams and want to help my students feel prepared, and a little less stressed and overwhelmed. I'm a friendly and social person, and I don't want to make tutoring feel like a chore! Instead, I should help you learn in a fun way that suits your needs.

I tend to go through specification points with who I'm teaching, so that we know we're ticking everything off that's required. I'll go through anything my student is unsure about, and explain it step-by-step until they understand. For maths, I can talk through the theory and methods, and then we can do lots of worked examples until my students feel confident in tackling questions. I like to use colours, diagrams and analogies to make everything seem a bit simpler. For example, I once taught a student to think about the interactions of hormones in GCSE biology as a hormone 'relay race'. I can do things both by hand (on paper), or electronically.

I want to make sure my students know how to apply the knowledge they've gained to past paper questions, so I usually go through some of those with my students at the end. Sometimes we don't do past paper questions, but I give them question exercises such as 'fill in the blanks' or quiz them on what they've learnt.
