I have graduated in Biomedical Science (BSc Hons) at the University of Birmingham and have a Master’s of Research in Public Health from the University of Manchester. I have advanced expertise in oncology, cell biology and epidemiology and thus can provide tutoring from a position of someone who has pursued a career in science. Recently, I decided to return to education and am currently studying Medicine as a mature student. Prior to studying I worked in Melanoma clinical trials for a number of years as a Research Portfolio Manager at The Christie Hospital and have previous experience working in secondary schools across the UK. I am available for Biology and Chemistry tutoring at GCSE and A-level. Most of my experience is with the AQA syllabus but I am also open to tutoring with OCR.
Primarily, I deliver online tutoring, but am willing to consider 1-1 in person tutoring for those who are located close to Liverpool City Centre. I will aim to provide customised supportive learning and will ensure that I take time to establish the specific learning needs of each student. I am very friendly and approachable and will go above and beyond to support the goals of those I teach. Let me know if you have any questions!
As well as 1:1 tutoring, I also have experience in medical communications/publications, as well as providing curriculum consultation within a training provider and willing to offer such services who require assistance in these areas.
I am typically available weeknights from 5:00pm, Wednesdays from 1:30pm or on weekends.
