Hi!! I’m Alex and I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with you.

My favourite aspect of art has always been that there is no wrong answer, therefore, my lessons will very much depend on what you would like to create and do. I am here to teach and suggest any techniques that I think would help you to achieve your goal, to guide and support you through any difficulties that you may face as well as answering any questions that you may have. We will usually start with discussing what you would like to achieve by the end of the lesson and talk about what you would like to work on during our time. For example, discussing the subject of your piece, any form of inspiration that you may have had, any techniques that you would like to use, materials etc.

I am also very familiar with the GCSE and A-LEVEL specifications that are required and am happy to offer my advice and personal opinion/ feedback based on my own experience going through them. (This includes the writing and analysis aspect as well as the photography aspect)

I am happy also for us to work on creating a portfolio for you, for any form of application, whether it be for a competition, university, job etc.

To sum up, I am happy to help in any aspect that is needed or desired, regardless of stage or experience, and want to be able to assist in the reaching of individualised outcomes as much as I can.
